Spring is fast approaching and our 2013 Boy’s Lacrosse season commences next week.

The following are reminders regarding some dates and administrative items for the next few weeks.

-Very important…the school has mailed a medical consent form. This must be returned before your son can participate in any practices.

Every year a player or two have had to miss practices as a result of not having this consent in place. Please help us be sure that we can all get off to a great start on the Friday 3/1.

Additionally, the SAC Code of Conduct form must be signed and returned as well.  We will make electronic copies of both forms available on the blog site.

-We have a meeting for Parents scheduled for Thursday, February 28th at 7:30pm in the Upper School library.  I understand we may have a conflict with a hockey game that evening.  I’ll be happy to schedule an additional session if desired.

-We have a team meeting for all players after school on Tuesday February 26th at 3:00pm

-Our first official day of practice is Friday, March 1.

-We will practice in the morning and afternoon on Saturday, March 2

-Our first scrimmage is scheduled at home on Friday 3/8 at 4pm

-First week of spring break is for family vacations, no formal practices scheduled for that first week.

-We have a great turnout for our annual Spring Trip. 24 players have committed to the trip.

We will depart for Maryland from the Upper School at 10am on Sunday, March 17 and return on the afternoon of Wednesday 3/20

We will post the itinerary for the trip shortly

-We have scrimmages scheduled for the rest of that week on Thursday 3/21 at home at 4pm and Saturday 3/23 at home at 11am.  Players who are not attending the trip should plan to be at the scrimmages and practices when we return.

-We finish our preseason work with a scrimmage with Montclair and Glen Rock at home on wednesday 3/27 at 4pm.

-Our opening game is away vs. Columbia on Tuesday 4/2. And off we go!!

Looking forward to seeing many of you Thursday evening, and getting started next Friday.
